Apiculture images


The 16th International Apiculture photographer Contest presented by Azuqueca de Henares Town Council in collaboration utilizing the Municipal Apiculture Centre are governed by the after rules:

ELIGIBLE MEMBERS: anyone or appropriate entity of any nationality.

MOTIF: Any element of apiculture — biology, flora, bee products, beehives and apiaries, customs and uses, trade and trade, marketing, art, etc.

Unique inclination would be given to photographs emphasising humanity’s relationship with bees.
All photographs must be original and unpublished.

A particular prize is granted for formerly posted photographs of historical or artistic value.

PERMITTED TECHNIQUES: All, including photography. Pictures are submitted in black-and-white or perhaps in colour.

CATEGORIES: The contest is split into the following groups:
– Single Photograph
– Illustrated Report (3–5 pictures for a passing fancy motif)
– Historical photo (for previously published pictures of historical or creative price)

SUBMISSIONS: Photographs could be posted:

On paper (unframed, minimal size 13 x 18 cm)
On digital media
By email

Each writer may submit no more than five pictures, often as a written report or as five solitary images.

Each picture or report should include the following information: photograph/report subject, author’s title and target, author’s identity card or passport quantity, short description for the writer and/or picture (5–10 outlines max.), e-mail address (if applicable) and distribution category (illustrated report, solitary picture or historic picture).

IMAGE RIGHTS: members certify that their particular work doesn't infringe other events’ picture rights and they have received permission to replicate and show the pictures submitted.

JUDGING PANEL: The judging panel will include staff from the Town Council’s Departments for Sustainable developing and society and representatives of photography and apiculture teams. It should be presided over by the Mayor, or by their appointed designee, whose choice may be last.

PRIZES: The rewards are as follows:

Single photograph:
Very first prize: €1, 000 and diploma
Second reward: €750 and diploma
Third award: €500 and diploma
Illustrated report: Single prize of €1, 000 and diploma
Historical picture: solitary award of €500 and diploma

The rewards stated are gross of transfer charges and tax.

COMPETITION OUTCOMES: The winning pictures will undoubtedly be announced into media on 18 March 2016 and also the winners will likely to be notified directly. The winning photographs will end up residential property of Azuqueca de Henares Town Council, that might request copies of this negatives, slides or initial electronic images.

EVENT: an array of participating photographs may be shown in Azuqueca de Henares from 18 March to 30 April 2016. Afterwards day, the collection are offered as an itinerant convention until 28 February 2017, where time it may be presented free by any team or company wanting to show it.

CATALOGUE: The photographs selected for convention will be published in a full-colour electronic catalogue. Each photograph is going to be credited to its author and certainly will range from the information provided. The catalogue will likely be offered in the Municipal Apiculture Centre’s internet site ( All participants will get, totally free, a booklet containing the winning pictures and a CD containing the entire catalogue in PDF structure.

RETURN OF NON-WINNING PHOTOGRAPHS: All non-winning photographs provided written down are returned to the author free of charge at the end of the event if so required on submitting.

All non-returned photographs is put into the Municipal Apiculture Centre’s archives and credited into author.
